Ian, nine years ago today I truly learned what heartbreak is ..the difficulty of each breath, each step. The pain never eases and although nine years ago it feels like yesterday. The joy of waking up to you every morning, the peace of going to bed with you every night and the hours of shared love in between came to an end. I am thankful for every moment of time with which we were blessed, your love continues to radiate. Now we meet in our dreams and you look wonderful as always. I look through photographs, remembering the moments, I read the letters that we wrote to each other, all full of love devotion and joy, even plans for the future that heartbreakingly we never got to experience. My wonderful Ian, sometimes the words to match my feelings cannot be found, the words I do find to not seem to express the depth of feeling....it goes to show actions and words together truly demonstrate love. I miss you, I miss how we loved, always the feeling if new love, excited at the thought of seeing you, speaking to you... And now excitement when I think of seeing you again. 31 years this month since our first kiss, I remember the exact place and time, I remember what you were wearing.
